On The Table Activate Mini Grants

Participants in this year’s On the Table Philly can apply for Activate mini grants in amounts up to $1,000 to fund fresh, innovative ideas generated during their November 8th On the Table Philly conversations about ways to make the Greater Philadelphia region a better place to live, work and play.

A total of $50,000 will be awarded through The Philadelphia Foundation. Additional ideas not selected for funding will be shared with the wider community for possible additional support.

      1. Post a short video on YouTube featuring your table’s idea of an actionable task to benefit your community. The video should be no longer than 90 seconds, explaining your idea, how it works and its potential impact. These videos can be shot quickly with your phone, no need to be highly produced. The projects should be “doable” with the requested award amount and should reflect the opportunities discussed in your On the Table Philly conversation. Please name your video in this format: “applicant name.project name” – for example MyNonprofit.ImpactIdea or JimSmith.Idea2.
      2. Submit the online application including the link to your video by the extended deadline of Nov. 26 at 5 p.m. Download it below or contact OnTheTable@philafound.org to have it emailed or mailed to you.

Recipients will be notified in December. Projects must be completed no later than June 30, 2019. Only one submission per applicant will be accepted.
